An
iPhone 4 has supposedly exploded in Brazil, where the phone was plugged
in for overnight charging. According to the “Blog do iPhone,” the
phone’s owner had the device near the bed when it started smoking and
giving off sparks. If it is true, it would the second report of an
iPhone 4, Apple’s 2010 model of its popular phone, self-combusting in
the last few days. A similar thing happened November 25th to a passenger
with an iPhone 4 on an Australian airliner on its way from Lismore to
Sydney. That case is being investigated by officials and by Apple.
