A new study reveals that many people exclude their political preferences while dating online. Findings published in the journal “Evolution and Human Behavior” show that politics do not play an important role in bringing people together and that only 14% of online daters even include political interests on their profiles. The study, titled “Do bedroom eyes wear political glasses?” by professor Casey Klofstad at the University of Miami, found that many online daters would rather admit to being overweight than share their political views.
