A food company said its survey of U.S. adults suggests peanut butter and jelly is the preferred “All-American” sandwich. Glutino’s survey found 30% of respondents named peanut butter and jelly the “All-American” sandwich, compared to 17% who voted for the BLT, 12% who said grilled cheese, and 9% who like the club sandwich. The survey found 51% of those polled consider sandwiches to be the “classic lunchtime meal,” preferred over salad and soup, which were each cited by 17% of respondents.
