Dogs At Work
Taking Rover to work is a growing phenomenon, according to researcher Rebecca Johnson of the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She says people realize pets can be a great stress-reliever in the workplace, and the boss is apparently going for it as well. But both the pooches and the people need some training. The experts say employers should set rules for dogs in the office. Some of the suggestions include keeping Fido out of eating areas and the restrooms. Of course, dogs need walking, and that’s good for both the animals and their two-legged buddies.
