Football Coach Resigns Over Nude Facebook Photo
A Paris, Maine, high school football coach has lost his job after accidentally posting a nude photo of himself on Facebook. Oxford Hills football coach Paul Withee said the photo was only up for about 30 minutes before he discovered his mistake and tried to fix it. Withee said he was embarrassed and humiliated by a mistake he said has probably cost him his career. Withee resigned Monday morning after school officials received a complaint from a parent. Withee also taught mathematics and science at Oxford Hills Middle School. A substitute has taken over his classes. Withee said the picture was intended to be seen by a personal friend but instead was inadvertently posted publicly. No students reported seeing the picture.
