Lucky magazine has put together what they consider the best cities for shopping, with the Big Apple coming out on top. The mag used a number of criteria, including which places have the lowest number of empty stores, checking Yelp.com to see where in the U.S. people were talking about shopping, and the sheer number of women’s clothing stores and department stores, from discount warehouses like Costco to fancy spots like Saks. They also figured in how easy is it to get around from store to store and if the cities offer the right mix of boutiques, fast fashion and more traditional retailers. The Top 10 on the list:
