America’s Rudest Cities
In-your-face
drivers, unsmiling pedestrians and more than eight million people in a
rush are some of the reasons New York has been named America’s rudest
city. The January issue of Travel and Leisure magazine gave the Big
Apple the honor, saying readers voted America’s most populous city at
the head of a list of 20. New York knocked three-time champion Los
Angeles out of the top spot. People in smaller cities tend to take life a
little easier, so it may come as no surprise that New Orleans, Savannah
and Charleston were all ranked in the top five cities for friendliness.
