‘Winners’ Of Worst Ads In America


More than 115,000 consumer votes were tallied up in Consumerist.com’s second annual Worst Ad in America Awards to determine the winners in the contest’s nine categories. Luvs’ “Poop! There It Is” claimed the top honor of Absolute Worst Ad in America earning slightly more than 32% of the vote. AT&T, who had two ads in the running for the top honor, came in second and forth, respectively. Summer’s Eve finished a distant third (17.5%) and in spite of being obnoxious, Geico’s “Using Smartphones for Dumb Things” managed to earn only 12% of the votes – leaving the company in last place.
