Deion Sanders’ Divorce Gets Ugly
It looks like Deion Sanders will be the next sports figure to go through a messy divorce. In a radio interview earlier this month, Sanders downplayed the hostilities in his divorce proceedings from his wife Pilar and said, “She’s a friend.” However, TMZ says it has obtained court papers filed by Pilar in which she accuses her husband of 12 years of “numerous” acts of adultery and “physical, mental and emotional abuse.” The documents, filed in Texas, also accuse Sanders of being a “bully” who “suffers from a narcissistic personality disorder.” Pilar also is seeking sole legal custody of the couple’s three mutual children, and to have their prenuptial agreement tossed out, according to TMZ. Sanders has dismissed the claims as a “shady” attempt to extort more money from the NFL star.
