Facebook Going After Clickjackers
Facebook is teaming up with authorities in two states to fight “clickjacking.” It has filed two separate lawsuits in California and Washington state against the Delaware company Facebook officials claim is behind the spamming. Clickjacking happens when spammers put links promising shocking videos that end up showing up on your page as links from “friends.” Then the friends have to get online to let you and all their online friends know they didn’t post the link. Spammers use it to trick people into clicking through to a survey or information from advertisers.
